The Honourable Justice Mark Richmond was sworn-in as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 19 April 2022. His Honour graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics in 1979, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 1981, and a Master of Laws with Honours in 1996. His Honour was admitted as a solicitor in 1981 and practiced for 16 years with Allen Allen & Hemsley (now Allens), including the last 10 years as a partner, before being called to the Bar in 1997. His Honour took silk in 2009 and prior to his appointment to the Court was a member of Eleven Wentworth Chambers where he specialised in taxation, commercial and administrative law.
